Been looking at picking up a fisheye to mess around with in my action sports shots, an I have been seeing a lot of 8mm manual lenses for around 350. For that price, its hard to say no, but I can not seem to find any pictures shot with one on a 1.3x crop sensor, only 1.6 and FF. Does anyone have any samples they wouldn't mind sharing?

Don't go for the $350 ones. this same lens is marketed under samyang, rokinon, pro optic, bower etc. The cheapest I've seen new are by rokinon from beachcamera.com. Also, there is a sigma 10mm for sale here https://photography-on-the.net …5980&highlight=sigma+10mm. the sigma is fully compatible with eos electronics where as the samyang group is not.

Just some food for thought I guess.

forgot to add that beach camera sells the rokinon 8mm for 260.

Canon 40d; 18-55 cheap and it works, 50 f/1.8 ii.
