Just curious? Why f/4? Could have increased your dof by bumping up the ISO or speeding up the shutter speed.

You mean slowing down the shutter speed.

At that focal length an increase in depth of field with a one stop change would have been nominal at best, and thirty seconds is the longest automated time Canon provides.

I took multiple shot with varying f stops and times, up to 2 minutes, but this was the best one detail wise. Also with this lens, I'm never happy with smaller apertures for some reason. They always look fuzzy.
