The pictures show beautiful detail. I'm new to photography and totally confused about lenses but am wanting a new one. Can someone tell me the difference between the two lenses spoken of?

I tested my 70-200 F4IS against the MK2 I got a couple of weeks ago. There is a thread somewhere ttiled .........MKII vs 135L (I added the other comparison)

They are extremely close as far as sharpness but one of the GREAT things about the MKII is the color and contrast. Better than my 135L, imo.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

Agreed, which makes me think of selling my 135L.

With the current rebate of $200 I rather get the II
