My flash is busted, how to repair it

My flash (580ex2) fell off the stand a few weeks ago, put it back up and it was good to go. At the wedding I was shooting on Saturday the footing felt loose, and then it stopped talking with the camera. It would fire, but the ETTL went bunk. Where should I send this in to repair it?

Assuming you are in San Diego, California there are two choices: The first is Canon repair in Irvine if you wish factory service.

However, I have had several repairs done at Kurt's Camera on Mission Gorge Road. They are a Canon-certified independent repair shop and they do excellent work. I had a number of problems with my 100-400 lens that Canon couldn't seem to fix. After I had it worked on at Kurt's it's been trouble free.
