Here is a pic of a tree with some interesting cloud / sky colors. Kinda creepy.

The pic lost a TON of sharpness and resolution being resized. Nothing is blurry in the actual photo.

Please ignore the POSTED pic and look on my flickr page. A cleaner image. Thank you.

The image is underexposed and does not use the entire tonal range, which makes it look dull. You can fix it a bit by adjusting levels. The left and right side are cluttered by those unidentifiable objects, making the image too busy. I am sorry to say that the tree is just not interesting in and of itself. Perhaps in better light, you might be able to draw some character from it. You also cut off parts of it.

Looks pretty dismal as presented, sorry for the less than enthusiastic response.

Hello.

Thanks for your responses.

I do not take offense at all. The only way for me to learn is to get feedback from those of you who are more experienced than me.

Thank you for your time and opinion. It has been noted.

If the tree, which I agree has a spooky appeal, is your object....don't cut it off (probably done in cropping)...I would have enjoyed more if the entire tree was in the photo....but in the end, I love the idea you saw....

i think the tones too dark and unflattering, it's underexposed, and its very very soft. maybe link us to the original image?

Looks like a blurry/underexposed mistake

Picture looks MUCH, MUCH better. Perhaps it still isn't a good image, but at least it isn't blurry!

you're right its a lot sharper and the color is much clearer. maybe you should step back so the twigs aren't cut off or frame it differently. i preferred the rusty ass looking building photo over this one =D
