Need some help guys, i've previously applied some PP to an image which i need to replicate, trouble is i only have the Jpeg left in a small 800px file:thumbsdown:

Is there anyway i can replicate the colours from one file as i need it in hi-res and the only copy i currently have is 800px

any help would be great, using photoshop CS3, but the colour match command seems to provide a very washed out look

This is the file i'm trying to replicate

The images are using different color spaces. First is sRGB, second one is in Adobe RGB.

Look into Geniun Fractal, I used to cause I deleted the hi-res size of n image i had, took the small image and blow it back up the original size and GF did a very good job at it.

Yes the different colorspace will cause the difference in color.

On the original PP work... did you convert to sRGB first or as the last step? I just threw a saturation and contrast adjustment layer on the original image. Converted to sRGB.

Nice Chas, can't tell the difference. What is your color space set to in your camera? I have mine set to sRGB. That way no chance for the color spaces to get switched. Also I have photoshop set to sRGB as well.
