I have a Mac Mini late 2009.

I just bought my wife a "Blue Eye-Ball 2.0 HD" webcam. Well the video works ok, but on my Mac Mini the audio doesn't work until i yell in the microphone. This is all going through the USB. If i go to settings and turn the microphone volume all the way up it still doesn't work.

So i thought it was the cam, so i took it and put it on my 2004 Apple iBook G4 and bam zero problems, everything works great. I'd rather not use this outdated computer just to skype on.

So does anyone know of a solution to my Mac Mini? This is so she can Skype with her mom in AZ.

Either, through alot of googling found out this is common. Ordered a different brand cam to give it a try, might just be the blue manufacturer.

If spelgng is bad, cause I'm on my iPhone. Got an icecam 2 coming, I'll let u guys know.
