I'm looking for a suggestion for a fairly large bag with a medium sized camera area.

Everyday I take a 15.6" HP Elitebook+charger, a 2x1" binders and some odds and ends. I want to get a bag that will allow me to take these items as well as my 1dmk2 and the canon 17-40 and the sigma 70-200 f/2.8, and a medium sized flash.

Most camera bags that are big enough to hold all this stuff are mostly for the camera compartment - so they can't actually fit the binders. I'm open to rollerbags as this isn't for roughing it.

Anyone know of a bag that will satisfy my needs?

Something like the Tamrac Adventure 9 might work.

from what I can see the upper pocket of the adventure 9 isn't big enough for the binders.

Check out the Urban Disguise bags from thinktank; commonly referred to as UD. The UD60 might fit all of that.

Today I looked at the national geographic large shoulder bag (this) (external link) and it was close, but not quite what I wanted. It needed another 2-3 inches in width and maybe another 1 in depth.

Anyone?

Maybe the Lowepro Rolling Attache series?

You might be able to configure the interior so the camera gear is at the top or bottom and that leaves the other half for your binders, etc.
