I have an 20 month old G3. While on vacation the LCD went blank (Exx showed up, not sure which one, possibly E24). It started working again but is flickering and impacts pictures (pictures show the same flickering interference). The camera was not dropped or mis-handled. Has worked great until now. Any similar experiences? I have searched the web for similar issues.

--Update--

The LCD works fine when viewing pictures, it only flickers in picture taking mode. I read the E24 message threads. I took off the LCD cover and it appears that all wires are plugged in correctly. I was using the swivel LCD extensively before I experienced these symptoms. Looks like poor design choice on Cannon's part.
