I love how blue and clear the vehicle is. Did you use any filters on your lens?

I use a UV filter on everything but no specific special effects ones.

The ute was 1 day old and that paint catches the sun so well.

I did fiddle with contrast and colour a bit. But how you see it in the photos is about as good at the colour looks in person.

Its why i really wanted to try that spot to see how good colour would stand against the rough backdrop.

It looks pretty good in these.

Do these look unsharp to you? It doesn't do that if you set it up right. PB sizing problem discussed in this thread:

No those don't look soft to me.

How do you have it set up?

But due to other commitments with clubs and forums i have to keep everything i upload to a certain size and it just softens everything up a bit.

But i am transferring to a flickr account at the moment to use with forums such as these as ive heard its alot sharper and handles images better.

Heh I was going to say Kilsyth myself. I was close. I grew up in the Dandenong Ranges seen in the background there. :)

Currently just a P&S, but watch this space.

How do you have it set up?

Before uploading your images to your Photobucket account, choose either a
display or file size that is equal to or larger than that of your images. You
can do this by clicking on the 'Uploading Options' link in your upload panel
and then on the radio button next to your preferred size. If an option is
greyed out, this means the option is not available for your Photobucket
account type. Selecting a size larger than your images will prevent further
resizing upon upload and help expedite the upload process. To make the changes
permanent, you must upload at least one image from the upload panel. This is
important for Pro users using FTP or anyone using the Windows XP Publisher. If
you choose to use the file size options, the file size of the original image
will take precedence over the the display size and any display size is
accepted as long as the file size is less than your choice in the 'Uploading
Options'.

You shouldn't have to do that. I didn't, & have had no problems since they gave me the solution to set the upload size larger than the images.
