Just rotate the image counterclockwise and you will be fine!

If you think about it, the horizon isn't crooked... it's you and your camera and how you took the photo. Noob.

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

He doesn't need the kite.... he can just water ski down the slope.

I like the angles in it. If it was straight, it wouldn't make the same visual statement. It messes with the eyes this way and makes in it interesting.

Right. The kite's for going back up. ;)

Thanks. I'm always missing the crooked horizons and always getting needled on it. I posted this to gently give the straighteners the heebies.:)

And I won't straighten it because, like you said, it messes with you and it's one way I thought of to try to take a picture of wind.

In fact I was just trying to get the kite and the rider in the same frame. These people really scoot. something had to give, I guess. I didn't really notice the tilt until I was processing.

Thanks to all who took the time to look and to comment.
Even Nathan.

Exactly! It's absolutely straight. Just at a 45 degree angle. ;)

It's a parachute to stop him falling off the page.

Well, it's a she but she's staying on the page so you're probably correct.

Hey, it's a critique forum. The question was whether it was you or the horizon. So yeah... literally, it was you. :p
