I did post in the point and shoot forum, but I thought this might actually be a better place. I am looking to upgrade from my sd1100 to a better SD or one of the other more advanced cameras. I have a 40D but with three kids to run after I really only use that for special events or the occasionally impromptu photo shoot where my kids are captured.

I have seen what the s95 can do but mostly of still life or birds. I want to know what camera you want to have with you when you can't carry your DSLR. I am missing too many special moments because I don't have something I can keep on me all the time.

So best P&S (would like HD video for the occasional funny or sweet moment) opinions??
