I have a 70-200 f/2.8-IS Mk I that I will list for local cash sale on CL in the SF Bay Area soon. It is in excellent condition with all packaging and very little use. I got it less than 2 years ago locally and have the receipt. In other words, it's legit and not a scam or stolen or anything like that. I'm selling it because I want to get the Mk II. I wouldn't call it pristine because I've used it but it doesn't have any scratches or dents and has always been packed in the case and used with a filter, etc. But, it is used, for what that's worth.
I'm not interested in taking advantage of a buyer nor am I interested in a buyer taking advantage of me. Given the description here, what is a fair price from a buyer's and seller's perspective? I just want to list it, sell it and have the buyer be satisfied
One more thing. I also have an f/4-IS which gets very little use. What is the fair market price for that, too? I don't think it is worth that much so I'll probably hang on to it.
