I happened upon this bird while shooting close to Harpers Ferry, WV. Any idea what it might be? Thanks.

I think it's a Great Blue Heron. I think Grey Heron are in Europe Africa and Asia

Thanks everyone! Great Blue Heron. I plan on going back this weekend, so hopefully I'll see another one. I couldn't believe the size of it when it took flight!
