Was looking to get into the CL modifiers because I like their speedring for speedlights as well as for PCB stuff and then any other system I may upgrade to. My question is whether or not you can fit two speedlights on there, one regularly mounted and then one upside down on top, as opposed to side to side.

Thanks in advance.

The CL bracket doesn't have 2 cold shoes.
And the ring isnt IMO large enough to fit to inside it. Maybe 2 flush with it but not in it.

I know that it does not have two cold shoes, what I am looking to do is put one in the cold shoe and then invert another and put it on top of the mounted one.

Use this VIDEO (external link) as a reference and it could be done with some Ball Bungies.....
Or instead of purchasing a $100.oo item that holds one Speedlite, you could buy a standard Speedring and some Ball Bungies and you could mount 2-3 Speedlites and save a ton of cash.....

Thanks for putting the link. I just looked at the picture and it seems height of the flash is not adjustable. Now I don' thave this bracket and only used Photoflex brackets and the one which comes with QBox24 but I think you will have problems if using say flexTT5 or other RF triggers which go under the flash hot shoe. I could be wrong.

2nd for this kind of price, why not look at Kacey's bracket. Mine should be here in couple of days and I will update.

You're right I should look into the Kacey Bracket. Can it accept CL modifiers?

The brackets with our softbox ring attached will accept any rod type box, strip or octa.

What does this joker know?

:p

Thanks for the response, saves me some Googling. I have seen you bracket before, might have to pick up both the dish and that bracket after I get another alien bee, very tempting.

Off topic, what grids will fit your BD?
