Congrats to the EOM winners! Thanks for posting up the comments, Lisa.

Gotta run, have to shovel a foot of snow so I can get to the office... :(

Thank you judges for taking the time to not only comment on the pictures but to take the vast time to judge the competitions, and I'm sure everyone else has the same opinion.

The picture of the Robin is "as is" as they say and the only thing I did was auto contrast in PS and re size to fit the web page. I really do take on board about the dust bunnies and to be honest I did not see them :o ...... I'm not looking at excuses, but I'm blind in one eye and having problems with the other one :( and having lost my glasses a couple of days before this shot it's been a bit stressful  and I would say it was more luck than anything else to get the shot even though I pass this spot regularly on my way to work in Snowdonia and always make sure I have some treats in the car for him.

Thanks again

Robin

I totally agree with the judges, amazing shot :)

Thanks for the selection and the comments, judges, and thanks for the time you put in for the SMWYG contest. Congrats to the other EOM winners. I consider it a real honor to be in such great company!

I got the last two sets of votes in yesterday and there was a clear winner.

Congratulation to:

Robuk's "Shivering Robin" wins them the title of
2011 SMWYG Photographer of the Year, with 19 points.

VMLopes "the Dovecote" was 1st Runner Up, with 26 points

and Geno.ca "Who's Minding Baby" was 2nd Runner Up, with 32 points.

Thank you everyone for your participation in this final SMWYG contest. It's been great seeing your work evolve over the years. I've appreciated the opportunities to see/judge your entries every week.

Congratulations Rob, it's a beautiful shot.

I'll just have whatever you're drinking, but make mine a double.

I photograph to find out what something will look like photographed.

Thank you, wherever you are. :)

Congrats, guys! Great choices on the top 3, judges.

And whatever you might be drinking, be careful if ye drink and post, lest ye get names mixed up... ;)
