 Sorry folks, not this year.

Went to the Photo Plus Expo in NYC yesterday hoping to get the usual deep discounts from B&H codes. NO CODES this year !!!

Instead they have a free hat or a free t-shirt for your purchase over $100 and $200 respectively. Just what you'd been waiting for all year. A B&H hat and t-shirt to strut around in.

I'm pretty sure it was talked about a while ago on these forums, that a lot of people speculated that the lack of codes for the past few years were due to internet sharing of them. They were codes for those who attended the events only and B&H and the like were losing a lot of profit due to them being shared.

It's too bad, would have been nice to save a few bucks from my yearly order.

5D MKII w/Grip, 40D w/ Grip, 400D w/ Grip, EFs 18-55mm, 17-40 F4L, 70-200 2.8 ISL, EF 75-300 III USM, EF 50mm 1.8, EF 100mm 2.8 Macro, Pentacon Six 45mm Tilt, Composer Lens Baby, 430EX, 580EXII,....and big dreams.

It's not that hard to introduce individual, one time use, codes.

How about those that can't attend? And if they want to limit it they could always give out the 1 time use only coupons.

These were a good days... B&H's codes combined with Canon's rebate program were a sweet deal back in the day :)

It is a 3rd year with no codes from B&H :(

Lots of very nice cameras, lenses and other stuff, but you know how Lance Armstrong says "it's not about the bike"? Well... it's not about the equipment, it's the photographer. I'm still working on it ;)
