you're welcome... it's because I finally dropped the cash on a brand new 24-70 3 weeks ago.

No Problem--the latest new releases have been so freaking expensive they make the ones we have now look like a bargain :rolleyes:

Probably looking at $400-500 price difference between version I and II? That seems to be the difference between 70-200 F2.8 IS version I and II.

yeah I think there is still no IS model in sight...and if this indeed comes out, I think at the very least the IS model would be 3-5years away haha

I bet it will come with much improved IQ like the 70-200 L2 as the newer lenses are probably designed for higher resolution sensors of 30mp+
