A friend rides this to the coffee shop regularly. It is a pretty much stock 750cc. He also has a 650cc that he rides occasionally and a Yamaha clone. It sounds even better than it looks.

Very nice! Right-side shift too. Just like it ought to be.;) I never owned a Triumph but I worked at a Triumph dealer in the early 70's so I got to ride quite a few of them. Those Bonnie's were under 300 lbs.:D I owned a Laverda back then which the shop also carried.

LOL Neil, I gave them a couple bucks here and there. ;)
If You're familiar with the old battery elimination kits they had, I had one heck of a time trying to find a Zener diode large enough to replace the one I had when it went bad.

We had a slightly different version; "Lucas, The Prince of Darkness". Same difference though. ;)

I can remember the rule of thumb; "Don't ride farther from home than you wanted to walk."
I remember a magazine interview many years ago with the Yamaha head of R&D. (I couldn't pronounce his name, never mind spell it.) He said that his favorite all time bike was the Trimuph Bonneville after which the Yamaha was cloned. He lived on an island where he rode his Bonny. The walk home in a straight line from any point was less that 30 minutes. :-) Ah, Lucas electrics.
Thanks for looking and the fun comments guys.

I think I still have a half a bag of kitty litter in the garage that we used for catching oil leaks from our 650 seals... but, OH that sound! Great shots! Thanks for bringing back some memories!

Thanks for the memory, ie; Checking the oil level just before the ride, every day.
