DVDs are cheap, and it costs practically nothing to burn one. I'd send them all they ask for.

Besides, it's always wise to be on good terms with the fire department. You never know....

It is always good to be friends with those guys. They do so much work, and at a moment's notice. The local department also is responsible for all rescues on the highway, so if you need to be cut out of your car, it's these guys that will be there getting you out. They are very appreciated.

Ghostbusters? ;)

Aren't ghostbusters the ones you call when there's something strange in the neighborhood?

yah. it was hard to sleep last night.

i drove past this morning in daylight and snapped an iphone pic but as i dont personally know the family, i felt wrong about taking any more pictures.

it definitly showed the awesome power of fire. it ripped through their garage and back of the house in about 7 minutes. good thing the fire dept is only about 3kms down the road.

Fire is a scary force to deal with. Our local department is 5 kms down the road. It is volunteer but they have an amazing response time.
I know what you mean about not wanting to take pictures because you don't know the family. I took pictures of a pig barn fire this summer, but they were all from a distance and focused more on the work of the fire departments.
We are good friends with these neighbours and they were ok with me doing it. When they get their new house and are all settled in, they will probably be a little more open to seeing the pictures. Right now, they don't need pictures to see what happened.

I don't think so, it goes in increments like LO .3, LO .7, LO 1.0.

All I know is, the D3s is the most amazing camera I've ever used. Every time I use it, I like it more and more.
