It destroys the 1d 4 to the point of embarssment.

Oh boy. Here we go again.:rolleyes: Good for you that your camera works. If there's anyone who knows how to use a Nikon, it's James. Shooting NBA? Oh yeah! You and Stealthy haven't posted anything that makes me go "Wow!" Where is it?:lol:

Julian, I was being sarcastic. I've never even used a 1d 4, I loved my 1d 3 though.

I need some help with tabletop studios. I have some potential clients that want to hire me for some food photography and I was wondering if those table top studios would work. I don't want to use a full blown studio to shoot since I want something portable.

Something like this:

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know. I really want to keep it portable. Thanks!
I'm out for a bit. Later!

Julian, softboxes and panels are really all you'd need I think but then I don't shoot food. I'd definitely play with what you have though.

Mirrors are amazing for doing product/food.

I don't have a need for mirrors but that sounds interesting. Never knew they'd be all that helpful with food. I've seen good food shots with just softboxes and a panel.
