no can do, need verification to use paypal Julian.... besides I can't get away with the $70++ tax from Adorama, I am trying to source it out locally if I could find one for roughly $1,100.

You guys may get a kick out of this one.
I started a thread about how far flashes have come and if people think that they are becoming a viable alternative to studio lights in the field. I even referenced Joe McNally and how I went to one of his workshops and seen them in action. I am honestly impressed.
I was really confused at why noone here seemed to share my enthusiasm. People were saying how power was an issue and that I was best to just use strobes.
The other day a friend of mine ask me " Dude did you really post up a CLS question on a Canon forum?"
That is when it hit me. CLS is unmatched and so is the SB-900.
Canon users don't get using speedlights with CLS.

Boy did I feel stupid.

I never, Not once claimed to read your post...

Cool looking sh*t

Creative lighting system. I think the 7d has something similar.

I'm thinking of picking up a 14-24 Nikkor and adapt it to EOS. :) I saw that B&H has a back order on the filter holder but, I'm dying to try this lens on my 1Ds MK III.

The 7D has it now and so does the 1D MK IV if I'm not mistaken.

The 1D4 does not count since it does not have an onboard flash,
with the popup flash on my Full frame camera.( say that about a Canon) I can control countless flashes in 3 groups and 3 channels. I can use i-ttl to evaluate my exposure and also set my exposure compensation right from my camera menu and also go into manual mode with the flash ( per goup I can leave some groups in TTL and some in manual if I wanted) all in the same menu.
The range that I have personally seen the onboard flash fire a speedlight is about 90 feet away, seemed to still be going strong.

One step closer to the darkside. You will comeback to us my friend. It has been in my visions, LOL

I while back when I switched over to NIkon I did so with one foot still on the Canon side and did not invest in any very expensive glass. I bought this 250 dollar lens ( Sigma 15-30mm) from the film days and it has not stopped surprising me since.

Hehe! I just purchased the Nikon G to EOS adapter Version 3 from Adorama. This thing costs $290.00 bucks. Now I have to buy the lens.

That's the one thing I like about Nikons but, it's very seldom that I use multiple flashes.
