Steven just put that in the title so he could blind us all.

It's really about "Canon vs Nikon" but he put that at the end in a sneaky type thingy about something.

Actually white would be a even more appropriate color for a 40Ljeep. But then I might be biased.

Random research result:
I think the D7000 is one stop worse than the D700 and the D700 is one stop worse than the D3s.

Which ain't bad.

I predict the D800 will match the D3s with ISO but have 18MP.
I predict the D400 will be 1/2 to 1 stop better than the D7000, so it will get close to D700 levels (and have 18MP)

Cant wait to see what comes in the New Year. It will be the deal breaker if i stay canon from there on out or switch. D800 or 5DIII. Cant wait to see what they bring.

dude leave your wife's pain meds ALONE:lol:

I hope that the D800 or as I would like to think D700s will be almost the same transformation as the D3 made to D3s with slight improvements. Nikon took me by surprise with all they shared between the D3 and D700 and I hope they will do it again,
I think that you are correct i your noise evaluation between these models and I hope you are wrong about he 18 meggerpixels

The 18 megapixels is what makes me happy. Clean high iso with 18 megapixels would be awesome!

Hey hey hey, don't hate, participate.
I do wish there was an adapter to use Canon glass on a Nikon though.

That would be nice. :)
