That will be very interesting indeed. The D4 will be a D800 on steroids like the D3 is to the D700. I can't see them going low on MP again. Maybe 16MP is the new 12MP, if you know what I mean. So long as it's clean 18MP is a good amount. Enough for landscapes and not so big you'll need 100TB drives. I still think though for event photography a clean 12MP camera (D700 or better) is ideal. Which is why I still might buy a D700... just to shoot with the D3s. Hopefully I get to choose. Right. It depends on the quality of the grain IMHO. Yup. I'm at 18 right now and don't want bigger files than what the 7D gives me. Better iso performance is all I want and a FF sensor would be awesome to boot. -Omar- Flickr
