Yeah...I'm thinking of selling the 5D2 and buying 3 more D3100s with the proceeds...

good decision :p

oh man kids are so funny. i just had some trick or treater's at my door and their parents must've said "don't run across people's lawns to their doors" because they ran from our neighbors front door across their lawn, then down our lawn to the end of our walk and back up our walk. so funny.

i was such a weird person as a child. i was always the exception and did everything differently than other kids. i never wanted to go trick or treating. i always wanted to be the one handing out the candy.

i'm definitely still weird.

I have one question guys, how come a Cellphone camera has this much DR?

I can't get the face of the Ruins and expose the background sky properly yesterday since the sky was bright... yet I was surprised that the GF's N97 was able to capture something like this?

is it good DR or just me being a crappy photographer? I have no GND filter yesterday by the way..

no edit, just uploaded straight from cellphone to facebook.

There's a lot of nasty jpeg compression on that shot.

The camera probably has some sort of auto lighting correction stuff going on. You can probably do better with RAW on a decent DSLR for sure.

If you want to kill your picture with tone mapping go ahead.

You guys are getting WAAAY off topic.

Now this picture is quite nice and a comment on eco-friendliness or something like that...I could have made it nice, but I decided to Stevenize it.
