I didn't have the extra $$ to lay out on the 100 L so picked up some extension tubes.
Been trying out different things. so far noticed I will not shoot anything macro with my 70-200 and the tubes together. Super tiring and annoying. Just curious if anyone can recommend from personal ext.tube experience what they believe will be the best lens tube combo.

My 50 L and the 20mm tube seems to be a good combo for me at the moment,I want to try more combos. If anyone cares to comment that would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would say to experiment with the 50L and if you need greater magnification then go with the 24L
but the way it would work in this case would be to reduce the minimal focus distance.
50mm with the whole stack would give you a 1:1 - which will probably be too big for napkins....
1:1 works nicely for most rings
