I didn't really like the strap that came with my S95. It's lacking a cinch or something to make it fit more securely around your wrist. I didn't have any extra straps at home and I didn't really want to go out and find another one so I went to Home Depot and found this 5/16 inch grommet that I use to secure the strap around my wrist. Since this camera was going to be used by more than 1 person, I wanted to make sure there was a better option than tying a knot 3/4 along the way.

At Home Depot, this is item number 161780 and cost me CDN$0.89 cents before tax. It was found inside a numbered bin in the isle that the screws, nuts, bolts and other fasteners were located.

Good fix. It's a grommet.

Thanks. So far, it seems to work nicely and the strap does not slip off of my wrist when the grommet is adjusted correctly. I'm not sure how the strap will stand the test of time though as I have read many accounts of this particular strap not surviving multiple contacts with velcro. Anyways, the wrist slippage problem is solved and only time will tell if it will start to unravel itself.

You can get WII controller straps with the same cinch gromment. And they come in cool colors!

A small hard rubber o-ring will work just as well.
