First time I've ever seen a scorpionfly. It was very patient with me taking lots of shots. Not particularly happy with the lighting, the flash is a little harsh.

I was very excited when I saw it. At first (naked eye) I thought it was a cranefly, but on closer inspection the head did look a little more like a scorpionfly that I'd seen online and in books.
