I have a 40D, but ever since getting my S90, and now S95, the 40D doesn't get much use, if any at all.

Nov 02, 2010 17:03 | #38 Look at the S95. Maybe you already have but I have been extremely impressed with it and it's an extreme compact. RAW shooting, great IQ, good ergonomics, the list goes on and on. It's no DSLR but what compact is....check it out if you have not. 7D - - 17-55 F/2.8 - 24-105 F/4L - 100mm F/2.8 - 50mm F/1.8 - S95 / To see all click here

Last week I went to Hawaii and I brought my 5DII and Canon S95. I used the 5DII about 2/3 of the time and the S95 1/3 of the time. DSLRs take great photos, to be sure, but they aren't always convenient to carry, so if you want a picture you need to have a small camera that you're always willing to carry.
