How many DSLR users use compacts too?

I have an S90 I try to carry with me all the time, especially when I don't want to carry my 7D.

I have a G11 to go along with my 7D

I do! I always have a compact...used to be an SD790 and a G7, now just have a G9. I'd love to get my hands on another SD series, but I'm trying to keep my gearwhoring in check haha

Sounds like there are a lot of us out there. I am finding myself wanting my 7D no matter where I go, but it's nice to have a good compact like the S95 to carry. I have found the S95 especially good for video. It's so small and easy to get great 720p video with it.

S90 and DP1s. And a NEX 5 which is little bigger than the S90 with a 16mm lens attached

I've been wanting to get a good p&s for a long time now, for times when I don't feel like lugging my DSLR or just don't have the room. I just can't decide which one. S95, LX5, G12, etc? I think the S95 would best fit the bill of best pocketability, RAW, manual, video, etc. I just wish the video was a little better...then it would be no contest. The G12 is bigger than I'd want o carry around I think.

We've still got a few options to take advantage of though...my wife has her Canon SD750 (smallest we own), I've got my old Canon A630 (I usually take it hiking), but I always have my Droid X on me and I've use it on a number of occasions.

Well the S95 is certainly a great choice. The others you mention are good too. There are so many great compacts out there right now. The S95 is the smallest I could find with all the right features. It's the only camera I have ever owned that I feel comfortable putting in my shirt or pants pocket and not being bothered by it and also having RAW, video, manual control, a good durable LCD and body......Something better will come out soon but for now I think the S95 is hard to beat.

Multiple DSLRs, and my S95 gets hauled around whenever the DSLRs stay home.

I just got the S 95 and a pouch to carry it on my belt for all those shots I would have missed in the past.

Canon SD400
Canon SD450
Canon SD600
Canon SD630(x2)
Canon SD750
Canon A1100

I have my DSLR (Canon XS) that I take most primary photographs with (18,000 and going!) but I have and use regularly the P&S's listed.

I use a SX120is alongside my EOS

I always have a compact with me as I travel a lot and don't always want to "flash" my DSLR around. I've been using an a590 IS(CHDKed) with a .7 converter (24mm) as I love a wide angle. Unfortunately with the lens attached it was too bulky.

Based on the dpreview I chose the Casio FH100 and it is in my pocket now.

P&S seem more complicated to me than DSLR..
