Just thought i'd share my first Sea Gull here in Dorset UK with new 7D with a 300 2.8 L IS + Canon 1.4x conv stuck on the front of it. I must say this camera when set up properly is awesome, the AF system is so fast and accurate. Big shep up from the 40D...............
Sorry i only saw a swan with no head !!!

I just did the same thing. The AF is amazing on the 7D. Watching those focus points dance around in the viewfinder was interesting.
