Those barriers looked to be mostly foam. Sure the driver/owner was happy about that.

If his dad got a new set of tools for Christmas, maybe him and his buddies could fix it in his garage.

Ah the infamous Mr Donaldson unless i'm very much mistaken. The car was still carrying battle scars a few months later

As for the Focus....well it looks like a Focus and that's where the similarity ends.

The Focuses (Foci?) that you guys get over there are considerably different than what we are asked to suffer with over here. I know there are been some pretty mean ones that Ford has made over the years. A while back I had an SVT Focus which was the equivalent of an ST-something model for Europe. It wasn't the fastest car but it could really take on the twisties.

Pretty awesome the car held together like that. I would have thought the front fascia would have blown apart on first contact.

I do agree, the Focus rulez! :D;)

I think Mr Donaldson had another "moment" a few weeks later and made a better job of it, sadly not on part of the circuit I could see,

Yes i do. But think about it... if they have the money to own and race that car... they have the money to replace the bumper and fix the damage
