Went to the beach this past weekend with the family. My brother-in-law's niece Cara and her friend Katie allowed me to take some photos of them. :D This is my first attempt at partially colored B&W. Their eyes are naturally a light gray color, but i decided to make them blue and colorize them along with Katie's shirt. I like this shot, but it seems like something is missing and i can't quite figure it out. Critique and processing are welcome!

Oh yeah... this is also the first time I really got to play with the nifty fifty! I had a blast taking photos of these two.... and the beach was pretty cool too! ;)

Thanks!
- Tom

To be honest, their Eyes creep me out.

I'm normally a pretty big fan of selective coloring, but I dont really like it in this shot.

Sorry but I have to agree with Johnny. Personally, I feel that the picture would have been better left in colour. Have you still got the original you might like to post so that we can have a look at it? You kindly say that processing is welcome, so I might like to play with it and repost if that's OK.

You could have done it right either by shooting in colour or B&W.
this way you ruined the shot!! Pity!

The pic should do the trick for horror movies!!! Scary eyes!!!

Thanks!!!
