Hey, gang. I'm relatively new here, but have been into photography for a long time. Unfortunately, I've been on nearly a 10 year hiatus. Since I'm getting excited about my 550D to be delivered on Wednesday I dug into my archives to see if I could get some constructive criticism and get a little refresher on what I need to be thinking about when I begin taking photos again later this week.

I wish I had the details for the shot, but all I can say for sure is that it was shot with an EOS Elan 7e with a 28-105mm lens. Thanks, and feel free to let me have it if it sucks. :)

More grain than in a silo. However an easy fix with the statue masked and the sky given a dose of surface blur as opposed to gaussian which gives a radioactive glow. Great shot for loads of whacky photoshop treatments.

Thanks. Yeah, it is pretty grainy for sure. I think for whatever reason I had a roll of 400 already in the camera that day. But I like the photoshop suggestion. That's one thing I really want to work on this winter is my PP. My skills in that area are really limited but with a little practice I bet a lot of my older photos could benefit from a little touching up.

I'd also like to throw one more into the mix since this is a little more of a traditional shot. Thanks again.
