Originally posted in the 60D owners thread, I thought some landscape folks might like to see these.
I took a road trip the weekend before Halloween, and my primary destination was Cape Flattery, WA, which is the most northwestern point of the continental US. It's out on an Indian Reservation, and they have provided a little parking lot and made a semi-maintained trail from the lot out to a couple of viewpoints, where they built some nice little platforms. I ended up there on the first REALLY stormy day of the season, so I looked and felt like a drowned rat by the time I was done with the 3/4 mile (each way) walk to the point and back, but it was completely worth the trip. I highly recommend it for anyone making a road trip to or through Washington.

There are more pics from Cape Flattery and the first part of my trip in the Flickr stream in my sig, I'm about halfway through processing them all.
