What kind of light / sky did you have, and time of day? the sky was blue, i just waited for the right time of day. I waited for around 5pm or so for the sun to hide behind the mountain top and give me some extra shade. This allowed me to get an better f/stop for the shot. The tree trunk adds a nice touch to the image. I really enjoy the colorful fall leaves on the tree trunk. "It doesn't matter what camera you have if your photography has nothing worthwhile to say"
