RF-602 receiver blinks red when turned on; turns green when G9 or G12 is turned on (with RF-602 transmitter mounted) in my cameras.

I'm asking because when its mounted on my 5D mk2 and 5Dc the green is off unless I half press then it turns red.. ( transmitter )

G series have very good high speed sync -- up to about 1/2000 sec hard wired. Wireless, the practical limit seems to be about 1/640. (I'm usually indoors and relatively close to the flash trigger.)
