First time to an air show for me. Good times! Too bad the Blue Angels flew so late...light wasn't that optimal.

Here are some I took . I am newbie to Airshow's and it was pretty challenging to get the Panning shots and most of them were out of focus because of slower shutter speed I was using . But it was a great learning experience .

Nice set Sam, frames #3 and #6 are great...yea first time for me too. I found that ISO 200, f/8, and about 1/800th to 1/1000th did the trick for me. I was also using mode 2 IS most of the time.

Those are some great shots. The two airshows that I got to this year were both into the sun. Thanks for sharing.

I really wish they would perform in the morning at that airshow so that way they're not backlit. Some great photos here. Will post mine when I can get them processed.

Thanks everyone...light was great first half of the day. Unfortunately I think the light situation is tough most of the time for air shows.

You captured some nice sharp pics for your first time out. Really like #4 and #5.
