Hi

Would really like some honest feedback please on my first attempt at beauty shots. I am using a basic 2 light set up with softboxes. Hoping to get a beauty dish soon when I upgrade my flash heads which I am hoping will help improve my fashion and beauty work.

Also would appreciate comments and feedback on my post production.
Thank you :):)

#2 is a much better profile than #1
Her nose and cheek bone blend together too much.

The eyes on both look great, im not a fan of the expression on her face on the first, the second is much better. I'd also use a bit less light, she seems to have lost all definition around her cheekbones and nose. Still, Good shots for a first try, keep it up!

Not a fan of the square light source in the eyes.

I too would like to see more definition.

Her iris seems soft to me, would like them sharper. Sclera seems too white / bright to me. Not a fan of the catch lights.

To me the first image looks like she is posing for a different photographer, maybe someone on your left side. Not as much in the second image.

I think this is a very good start. #2 I like.
