Well I'll post one to start with and add more as I get time to go through them.

SF Giants fans celebrating the 2010 World Series victory at Civic Center in front of SF City Hall.

I was really hoping for AL World Champs this year. I love SF but they, along with the Cards, broke my heart when they owned my Rangers. I thought DET was going to pull it off but alas, no.

The image is great and I hope one day Texas fans can celebrate like that as well. :)

Well deserved. Tigers must still have been dazed & confused after sweeping the Yankee's

 I actually was there again and shot from the media pit under the screen. Just like last time, totally hadn't planned to be there and this time around only had my 1D3 and 17-40 (last time my 1D2 and a 50 1.8).

Shot of the crowd celebrating the Giants victory

I may post a few more to the thread, but for anyone that wants to see the full set I have them posted on my website here: http://arroshotz.smugmug.com …K#!i=2182272688&k=RdRGbKC (external link)

As a Giants fan (living 45min from AT&T), I've always had a different take on which team to follow after beating my chosen team. I feel that if another team beat the Giants fairly, that is usually the team I woot for through the post season. My take is that if they were good enough to beat my team, they should go all the way. It's vindicating for me to know that the Giants (or any other of my sport teams) where beaten by the best. If I was a Yankee's fan, I'd feel pretty bad that the team that swept the Yankee's went on to do poorly themselves at the next level. To me that just means that the Yankee's were beaten by the clear 2nd rank team.

So delight in the fact that the Rangers AND Cards were deservely beaten by the best team in baseball at the time. :)

Parade today!!

I see what you are saying with that. It's been amazing to watch the Rangers go from a franchise where they were practically giving tickets away to a well respected and, dare I say, a feared team in the AL.

Our second trip to the World Series against STL should have been our time for redemption. We had the chance to put the nail in the coffin TWICE and we couldn't make it happen. I will say that STL losing to SF was a nice consolation but I long for the day when we become the "best" team instead of the team beaten by the "best".

Oh well, at least I have the Cowboys....oh wait. ;)
