I'm seriously considering having a SmugMug site - currently doing the 14-day demo. So far, I like it. I can readily see how I can sell prints of my images. However, I would also like to add matting/framing as an option.
I could do the matting/framing myself, but that would require that the print be shipped to me before going to the customer. I would like to be able to offer drop-shipping of matted/framed prints directly to the buyer.
I see that SmugMug can integrate with ImageKind which does offer these services. Will ImageKind show up as an option in the SmugMug shopping cart? Does anyone have a SmugMug site, that I can view, that has matting/framing available?
I'm also interested in reviewing SM sites, in general, to see how others are pricing their images - especially if you are aiming to make a profit from your images.
If there is another service, besides SM, that I should be considering, please feel free to mention it.
