I'm not realyy into landscapes, can appreciate them, just not my thing, however i decided to give it a go when in cyprus earlier this year, all comments welcome

Canon 450d/ sigma 17-70os f13, 1/1250, iso 800 (dont know why :lol:)

I like your composition, but I think this could have really benefited from a longer exposure.

About your ISO...I've done that on accident before, during transitions from inside to outside...it sucks!

Interesting formations, nice colours and clear water except for it just seems to have lost a bit of sharpness through jpeg compression/ resizing.

composition could use some work, your horizon line runs right through those rocks. If you were just a little higher or lower this could be more interesting. I would probably have shot this lower, right on water level, and used a flash to fill the shadows. Best thing would be to shoot this is softer light.

Lindsay, like i said im not too keen on landscapes, so im not sure how a longer exposure would have helped?

Cheers Corkney, :D and yeah think it has lost some sharpness in the resizing

I just noticed that SJP, it is very off putting once pointed out, lower would definately work better
