Good work, could use an exposure bump, and that's a weird crop. It a good shot though... i like it.

Having a subject dead center is not wrong in itself. The rule of thirds is not a law, just something that can help with composition. She certainly is underexposed though. The overall image being darker gives greater saturation to the background and brings out the bit of red in there, but you'll probably have to process these and make her stand out a bit more.

A mild adjustment brush with a differentiation of a stop or half depending, could help this image.
