Advice on setting up home studio (lighting) for clothing Photography

Hi all,

I am working for a small NGO organization selling online clothing in ebay and local shopping sites, i am a beginner

I have been asked to take photographs of apparels, what i have been provided now is a 10mega pixel digital camera and white background, i have a tight budget to get other accessories please let me know what should i get

From reading through i have found the following would do . please let me know if this will suffice for clothing photography



softbox (let me know the size i should ask for)
Four 30W daylight CFL bulbs(on each)
diffusion panels


please let me know if this would do please advice me on the size of the softbox i should inquire for

Clothing doesn't move, so continuous lighting would work.
You'd want to use a tripod for the camera.

CFL can be tricky with some colors of clothing AFAIK. (But so can flash)

thank you for the reply,

i am a beginner and would like to know what kind of light set up i need to go into i now have this set up which is so basic but works okay for mannequin shots but not for the shots where i need to take the clothing flat laid on the ground
