Hi all! I am looking for some honest critique and I know I can find it here. :) These were shot via natural window light and 380 EX bounced off the ceiling. I want to get these printed for family (they have been griping for pics) so I need some sharp eyes and honesty! Look good? What could I of done different?

This one has a blue tint for some reason... I think I may have to redo this one...

These are nice, just be careful not to cut the limbs off in pictures especially in no.1 the babies hand is missing in the shot, also the colour is too grey, I would have kept it in colour. I am not so much a fan of no.2. My favourite is no.1 and no.3 if the babies face was more to the camera and the tie removed, that would have been class!

But all and all, I think you did a good job with lighting!

Thank you Albertonman :) I appreciate the feedback! Here is another one, I was leary of it just because the legs are cut off, but seeing how I TOTALLY missed the hand in #1, I suppose I can share.

The first is probably my favourite. I like the processing, even the background but the eyes are probably just a little featureless.

Let me first of all say, your kids are beautiful, I still like no.1 the best even with the hand cut off, its not such a big thing as its just for your family and this will look great in a portrait. I am sorry to say I am not a fan of the last one, as I believe if you take pictures of people, to get them close to each other especially if they are related.

I would personally make this in colour as this grey cast is too dramatic for babies. :)

Cute kids... now an honest critique... There is no sparkle in the eyes. The image is very cool and their skin is splotchy. If you shot this with their faces toward the window, you might've been able to get better light. Children look best in natural color, or sometimes BW. Reason's for doing BW shouldn't be lack of control over color. With their fair skin and hair, if you wanted BW, the best background option would be back with a backlight towards the back of their head.

I edited this picture for color with curves, levels, opened up levels to brighten and found beautiful color in their eyes. Did some skin edit and little color back in their cheeks.

You've found your new project. =) Take some tutorials... there's lynda.com, creativecow.com, and of course forums here.

Ok... I have been going at this for 45 minutes... Yes I stink at PS, still learning. But here is my color edit... what do you think.

Thank you Dynamic :) I love the creative control that is there from PS and other editing tools. Now I have to learn how to use it....
