just got new ipf 6100 all set up and now user software disk won't install on my computer. says it can't install on this version of windows. I have windows vista 64 bit. any help or a link to what I need to download would be greatly appreciated

I checked the US Canon site for software for the printer, chose the Win7 64 OS and this page came up -- it's a fairly long list, so scroll all the way down to see all that's available. Tony

tonylong ...winded More info | Nov 02, 2010 22:25 | #7 OK, good, I don't know how the OS breakdown all works for the installs -- for Vista64 I might first try the Win7 64 and see if it properly installed, then if not try the "plain" Vista install. Just keep poking away! Tony
