Here is the post from my first wedding.
https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=911543

Thank you all for so much help leading up to this. I rented the canon 17-55 2.8 and the 70-200 2.8 IS. Unfortunately the 70-200 was dead on arrival. I didn't have time to get a replacement so I shot the entire day with the 17-55. It worked but 55 was not enough reach. I really longed for the 24-70 I had used the previous wedding. For me, I think its a much better all around lens. Had I been able to use the 70-200 the 17-55 probably would have been great. Here's the photos. C&C is appreciated. This was also my first time to use OCF. I practice a bit before hand but it was more or less experimenting.

I've had to shoot an entire wedding with the 17-55, too... I love that lens... Always reliable.
These are nice, but that last shot is my fav :)

Really nice and creative shots!

Sorry to hear that the 70-200 was DOA =\ really kinda blows.

Only criticism: in the 2nd shot, the thing on the bottom left and the vase on the bottom right.

Thank you all again.

The 'thing' on the bottom left is her shoulder and, yes the vase on the right was annoying. There actually was a ton of clutter on that desk in front of the mirror! Can't really crop anymore unfortunately.

Only your second wedding? Not bad, not bad at all. Looks like you are on your way. Would be great to have two bodies with the 17-55 on one and the 70-200 on the other.

Thanks...

yeah #5 is probably my least favorite of all of them.

I agree about the 17-55 and 70-200 on two bodies would be a great setup!
