I am processing an image and it is to my liking in photoshop so I save it as a jpeg and when I open the jpeg in preview it looks like it has lost a lot of sharpness compared to my photoshop view. What is going on?

What is going on? Photography is like a drug and I think I need an intervention.

Load the image in photoshop, view it at 100%, see if it's sharp. If it's sharp there, but not in the other software, you've found the problem. I save at Q9 for customers. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.

Not unless you need extra DVDs, or it takes more time to send to the lab. Still, no real harm.
