Very interesting listing. They claim it's a match for the paint. Past feedback for the seller do not seem to indicate any dissatisfaction... I may give it a try
Please share a before/after photos if ever you'll try it.

I'm not too fond of bare metal--is there a particular matching paint you guys recommend? I'm looking for actual useful suggestions--none of the standard fare (oh no, better throw it away--or--it's battle damage, be proud). I assume the black body paint they use is a match on ALL of the metal bodies Canon has recently manufactured? ya but i though all canon cameras had a plastic housing/casing!once upon a time they did make cameras with a metal housing mostly brass i think, but to your question i have use the birchwood marker on firearms in the past and the stuff works, don't no about plastic though. canon 7d bg-e7 5d-mk3 1d-mk3 24-105-L 17-40 L 35/1.4 85/1.8 yougnuo 565 ex 580 ex and lots of other canon stuff.canon 70-200 2.8 L

Plus there's apparently a 30-day cure time, though the bare minimum is 1day. I'll do the before/after spot treatment when I have a chance blanex1@netzero.com wrote in post #16992580 ya but i though all canon cameras had a plastic housing/casing!once upon a time they did make cameras with a metal housing mostly brass i think, but to your question i have use the birchwood marker on firearms in the past and the stuff works, don't no about plastic though. Well, all of the 1D series bodies are definitely full-magnesium frames. I think only parts of the x0D series are magnesium, though I seem to recall the 60D was something else entirely. All the lesser models are just plain plastic--white plastic underneath that paint.
