After such a good response to my photo post about the new F-Stop Loka pack a couple of weeks ago, i'm glad to be able to show you guys the brand new Tilopa BC pack today. The Tilopa BC is an evolution of last years Tilopa pack that takes all the new features of the Loka, and adds a few backcountry specific ones of its own to make a 50 liter backpack. It was well known that the Loka was arriving when it did, but they kept pretty quiet about the Tilopa BC so hopefully a nice surprise for some people.

As with the Loka post I shot a ton of photos, more than 60 in fact!! And I don't really have time to post them all on here so here are a few examples and then please follow this link to see the rest (external link).

I also included a set of shots to compare the Loka with the Tilopa

Not right now, I should have done that. I'll try and do it tomorrow and post a further update.

Excellent review. Does the zippered back flap also form the back wall of the backpack? Basically, if the backpack is full of clothes, can they fall out if you open the back flap to access the camera gear?

Being that you lay the bag down to retrieve gear it shouldn't be able to fall out.

Yeah you would lie it down. Or use stuff sacks for the clothing. Outdoor research makes some super lightweight ones to help keep it all organized. But yeah you wouldnt normally go opening it up like I did in that photo of you'd have lenses everywhere.
